The one-time columnist for the Los Angeles Times community news has made a sterling reputation for not only providing the latest information on OC fashion, food, events and shopping to her loyal followers, she also gives terrific exposure and a strong voice to the vast sea of stores, restaurants, and experiences that may otherwise fly under the county’s radar.
Greer is also a social media marketing specialist and consultant who offers a variety of services to help businesses and nonprofits with content, social media presence, and a strategy.
She’s also writing her first book, “Born in OC” to feature people who are making a difference and adding to the betterment of Orange County. It will be released in 2021.
Greer is the mother of four boys, ranging in age from 21 to 32, and she's passionate about Type 1 Diabetes awareness and raising funds for a cure. Her 30 year-old son was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes 15 years ago. Since then, Greer has volunteered on behalf of juvenile diabetics. She is serving her second term on the JDRF Board and chaired the JDRF Dream Gala in 2015. She also serves as Executive Producer of “The Human Trial”, a documentary about the search for a cure for Type 1 Diabetes. It will be released in 2022 to coincide with the centennial of the discovery of insulin.
For anyone who doesn’t know or understand type one diabetes, our film humanizes the disease and the researchers working behind the scenes to cure it.
When not working on her book, Greer looks forward to running her thirty-fourth marathon. She also practices yoga, swims, cooks, loves to read, travel and spend time with her family, grandkids, friends, and longtime boyfriend Paul.
